Super Sedan's Supreme Sales

Maserati's Quattroporte is dominating sales of luxury sport sedans over $100,000 despite and in part because of its limited production. American consumers are showing they appreciate Quattroporte's unique balance of performance, style and cachet by more than 3:1 over BMW's 760i and 760Li combined.

With almost twice as many sales as its nearest rival, the Bentley Flying Spur, and far the most substantial share of this premium segment, the Quattroporte continues the success enjoyed since its launch in late 2004. In fact, the Quattroporte has increased its market share in each half of 2005.

Quattroporte's award winning Pininfarina design, peerless Maserati performance dynamics and technology, and prodigious Italian luxury have a timeless appeal for serious automotive enthusiasts. Recognized by the automotive press and the buying public as both the most accessibly sporting luxury sedan and the most purposefully luxurious sports sedan, the soulful Quattroporte delivers, above all, balance. Like every Maserati, it is the choice for those who demand the very best driving experience and wish to engage the car and road with every outing.

The segment in which the Quattroporte will win the 2005 sales race includes the BMW 750iL, 760i, and 760Li, the Bentley Flying Spur, and the Mercedes S55, 565 and S600. Those who have driven them all will attest that, while the Quattroporte shares a price segment with the others, it stands alone on the road. In 2005, most of those who have driven a Quattroporte have also been fortunate enough to buy one.
